Holding Select then hitting Start "Exits" the game and returns you back to Emulation Station, but now my keyboard "Tab" is not working to get into the menu to set up what I mentioned above. I actually had this working at one point in mame4all using lr-mame whatever emulator selection and lr-fba-next.
